The original client base of LME Outboard Services Ltd can be dated as far back as the 1970's, when the business was originally established by Ted Bailey trading as Ted Bailey & Co situated in the idyllic setting of Chichester Harbour. Ted Bailey & Co was acquired by the Lansdale family maintaining the Marine Engineering Services to the existing customer base that was established by Ted Bailey & Co. Since that acquisition there has been an ever increasing client base with the continued trade that expands a period more the 40 years to date. During that time the location of the workshop premises has relocated a number of times for expansion purposes to maintain its Marine Engineering Services to its increased client base and to accommodate specialist marine equipment that has evolved substantially over the years from when Ted Bailey & Co was originally established. It won't come as a surprise how much the technology of Outboard Engines have evolved over a 40 year period so naturally the infrastructure of the Marine Engineering workshop has equally evolved to accommodate increased technological development of the mechanical and electrical elements of the modern Outboard Engines.
